The game and your data
You can play HOPLA offline. It does not require an account or transmit your progress, avatar name or gameplay actions to GEST-IA. Versions 1.1 and 1.3 show no advertisements and include no analytics tools or advertising tracking. HOPLA 1.1 has no in-app purchases; starting with version 1.3, an optional pack may be offered when it is available in the store.
HOPLA stores the information needed for your progress on your device: earned stars, unlocked companions, avatar names and appearance, selected world, completed goals, sound, vibration and guide preferences, and scores and dates of runs. Run identifiers are generated locally to avoid counting the same reward twice. Your avatar name may be a nickname; your real name is not requested.
Game sounds and graphics are generated or loaded on the device. The game does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts or advertising identifier. It does not read your clipboard.
Element Master Pack (from version 1.3)
The pack is a one-time, optional purchase. Apple or Google displays its price, processes the payment and associates the purchase with your store account. HOPLA checks with the store whether you own the pack before unlocking its three powers and complimentary second chance. It also disables all advertisements for pack owners if advertisements are later added for other players. HOPLA does not send receipts or payment tokens to a GEST-IA server.
Pack ownership is not stored in your game save and cannot be gained by importing a file. “Restore Purchases” checks with the same store; a connection may be needed to buy or restore the pack. A pending, cancelled, refunded or unverifiable purchase does not unlock it. A purchase on iOS does not automatically transfer to Android, or vice versa.
Save and share controls
Your save stays in the app. It is not synchronized with a GEST-IA account. Where supported by the device, export and import let you create a progress file or read a file you choose. That file contains no purchase entitlement. GEST-IA does not receive it. If you later put it in a storage service or send it to someone, that is your use of that service.
The score-sharing button writes a short score message to your clipboard when you activate it. You decide whether to paste or share it in another app. HOPLA does not send messages or publish scores itself.
Operating systems may back up or transfer app data according to their settings. These features are managed by the operating system and your backup provider; they do not give GEST-IA access to your progress.
Retention and deletion
Progress stays on your device until you reset it or clear the app’s data. In HOPLA, open settings, choose “Remettre ma progression à zéro” and confirm. This erases local progress but does not cancel a purchase managed by Apple or Google.
Exported files and copies kept by your operating system must be deleted separately if you also want to remove them. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data may erase your progress. GEST-IA has no remote copy from which to restore it. A pack still associated with your store account may be recovered with “Restore Purchases”.
Contacting support
If you email us, we receive your sender address, message and any attachments you choose to provide. These communications are used to respond to your request. They are not sent automatically by the game. Please avoid sending information unrelated to your issue. You may request access, correction or deletion of these communications at admin@darkup.io, subject to applicable retention obligations.
Changes
This notice covers HOPLA 1.1.0 and the features planned for HOPLA 1.3.0 once available. Adding accounts, synchronization, analytics or advertisements in the future will require an update to this notice and store privacy disclosures before those features are enabled.
